Whitaker rarely looked bad in his prime, just lazy.
Toney loved aggressive fighters, as well as McCallum, Kalambay and Eubank.Comment

Yea but fighters like Pep could get choped down,Toney had Iron chin and ****** with you,Buchanen was tough but Duran mauled him.i wouldnt say that Eubank is some elusive defens master.Comment

Eubank wasn't an elusive master, but he was hard to hit, mostly in the head and he usually looked good against brawlers and aggressive fighters, but looked awful against any type of mover.Comment

So didn't Saddler winning have a little more to do with him continually punching Pep in the balls? A shot to the nutsack can certainly slow even the toughest of guys down.Comment

Hell yeah. I became a fan of both Pep and Saddler when ESPN's Ringside did an episode of Bert Sugar's favorite smaller boxers titled Little Big Men which I believe was 147 and below. I still have to watch both career sets and look forward to seeing them, now that I have all my fight DVDs and TV episodes separated and organized.Comment

I'm not sure how much Toney love aggressive fighters because he was outworked quite a few times.Comment
