I don't like Mayweather very much, but Oscar comes off as petty and vindictive here.

DLH's letter to Floyd

Naked jealousy never looks good even when penned against the Devil himself. I thought Oscar's letter was an open attempt to attach himself to Mayweather while looking like he's stirring the pot. How many PPVs did Mayweather sell 4.4? I'd be attacking him too and saying whatever I could to stay relevant. I think he no more penned this and is no more outraged than a can of beans.
Oscar is a business, this is corporate outrage....

Lil' Floyd cannot run from conniving mouths in a free country the way he avoided top opposition in his boxing career. Out of the ring now, he is down to the size of people much smarter than himself, who will proceed to take him apart, until he relents and returns for a career capper. There are those who still intend to have his head on a platter, and they will have it through KO or through calumny. The insults only hurt because they are true. His way of getting back was always to easily take apart the latest "great hope" while putting on a snoozefest and making a ton of money. The snoozefest was actually part of the MW payback. He was willing to kill his own troops in order to wipe out a brigade of the enemy mixed with them. He always got his satisfaction that way against those he did not have the smart words to contend with at ground level. I don't think he can live without one more payback attempt.
Hoya himself is not smart enough to write those words in that order, but he did add his imprimatur to the letter. No one is easy on anyone anymore. There is no reason to expect anyone to go easy on lil' Floyd, considering his conduct and braggadocio through the years, and the disappointment of his biggest performances in terms of promised action.

"Braggadocio?" Jesus, its called marketing and I've never seen a group of men react to an extended commercial with so much butthurt. Mayweather reduced himself to little more than a minstrel and "fans" react like he ****ed their girlfriends and mothers on the same night?
The ghostwriter was little more than a corporate puppet hired to employ slings and arrows, pffft.....

While Floyd might not be a great human being, his greatness in the ring cannot be questioned. Sour g****s by ODLH but then again Floyd beat him and his prize pony (Canelo).
