Mayweather has a great resume but on paper his resume is a lot better than it actually is. Add in the fact that skill wise he's one of the best ever.

That's a recipe for a fighter to become overrated.
I agree, On paper his resume is a lot better than it actually is. Which is very similar to Lennox Lewis resume. Mayweather like Lewis never fought an elite Class A fighter who was in his prime.

      I can't argue with that..........

        I don't think that's fair.

Mayweather's resume is clearly far superior to Lennox Lewis'

        • I think Harry Greb is overrated because i saw a video of him shadowboxing and he looked like a special needs 10 year old.

In this gif he throws a compact hook at about as close a distance as you can get:

And here he closes from long range beautifully but then finishes from in close:

Maybe we should clarify what you mean by inside work, though. Do you mean things like shoulder bumps and maneuvering with the head?
That is not infighting, sure he is near the victim but they are single shots, if they don't knock the guy down he is already preparing to exit, an infighter gets in so close he can smell the other guy and works combos on the inside and when the other guy goes to clinch a great infighter will work his way out of a clinch, if you want to see great infighting look at films of boxers from 1900 to 1950 and you will see many... Billy Petrolle is a good example, Marciano is another, Darcy another though not purely, he liked the outside as well, Jimmy McLarnin and maybe the most well known infighter of all Hank Armstrong who only fought on the inside. I am not saying your guy can't fight or isn't good but you will have to show better examples if you want to convince me or Iron Dan Hamza. ..................................... .................................................. .............................. ............................... Besides why would I take too much notice of a guy who reckons les Darcy was just a domestic level fighter, maybe you do know some thing about boxing and you are just a poor researcher and know little about old timers.
