Oh and Hagler beats McCallum, either by late stoppage or close UD in 12.

At every opportunity you and Lewis fanboys turn it into a Lewis thread and personal ridicule towards me...LOL

You cannot debate boxing, your only interest on this forum is personal attack.. if not me, you will wait for your next victim to log-on to the site. LOL you sad little creep.

Your cry of, "Sonny, stop saying you have forgotton more blah blah blah.." Well i say it as reference towards you and your victimisation of posters. Why dont you go back and take a look at your last 20/30 posts on the forum.. see how many of them are debating boxing and how many are personal attacks.

The answer is: Every single one is nothing whatsoever to do with debating boxing.. Just like 95% of the other posters on this website. But i enjoy it, i enjoy your antics, they make for fun and laughter. i can see that i get under your skin LOL

      Keep it up rimmer

I agree it does seem like a personal attack. Lewis and Tyson is off topic but anyone who knows anything can't dispute Tyson being drugged up and way over the hill before he fought Lewis. A prime Tyson is a total different animal.

True and I do so because of your nonsense about lazlo Pap. Why do you persist in labelling an olmpic fighter one of the best lightweights ever!?

The part of debate you seem to specialize in lately is where it descends to name calling and accusations of ignorance. For once, you might try an explanation via technical reasoning of why such a controversial notion as the Snatcher beating a man like Hagler is valid in your mind.

Hagler is bigger with incredible stamina, as fast or faster, probably hits at least as hard, is a top 5 all time middleweight in most peoples' view and a top 5 all time chin.

Can you explain without ranting just how Mike is going to pull off such an incredible feat? If you can't, well....that might look bad. A debate is not two children in a crib throwing toys at each other.

After you show me the link where i said hagler or Lewis was a top ten fighter, or where I profess such a love for either fighter as a personal favorite of mine, I will be glad too! I think we understand each other now Sonny, what was it that Bogey said to the Frenchman in Casablanca? "this is the beginning of a long friendship"

Now you know exactly how it feels when someone misrepresents you, I believe we are both better people for it....you can stop attributing things to me you assume....like the extent of my prefernce for particular fighters and i can stop mentioning anything about lazlo pap.

This is how most of your posts should be, instead of name calling etc...

Firstly Hagler is no way bigger than McCallum. McCallum is a couple if not more inches taller than Hagler... i can remember Sugar Ray Leonard in the build-up to his fight with Hagler, "Marvin does not scare me, i am Bigger, taller, faster, more skilled, more durable than he is"... Well i feel McCallum is also all those attributes better than Hagler...

Great fighter that Marvin was, i do not rate him anywhere near being a Top 5 Middleweight.. Some do, but not me.
The reasoning behind me not rating Marvin as Top 5 is his short height, slow hand-speed, poor ring generalship (cutting off the ring) only average one-punch power...

                    Top 5 for me:

                    Sugar Ray Robinson
                    Harry Grebb
                    Sam Langford
                    Marcel Cerdan
                    Carlos Monzon

                    Marvin Hagler - Ranking 10-12

McCallum was a very good technical fighter. good enough to beat other excellent boxers like Don Curry, Watson & Graham. Able to nullify devastating punchers with skill and ability (Jackson, McCrory, Toney)..

McCallum was a 15rd fighter just like Marvin Hagler was. Both had incredible punch resistance and could come on strong in the championship rounds.

IMO i just give the edge to McCallum each time i try to envisage them fighting. Due to McCallum being technically better along with his physical advantages.

I am in no way putting Marvin Hagler down, He was a truly great fighter from 1980-1987 Yet i feel his bout with Roberto Duran showed to me that Marvin struggles with other elite fighters. If Hearns breaking his right-hand in the opening round is taken into account, then Marvin Hagler comes up short. and lets not forget he was an incredible physical speciman, but retired at only 32yr old..McCallum fought at world level when 40yrs old

So if Hearns doesn't break his hand, he wins then? I doubt it. He was badly beaten and it was a good stoppage by Steele. Now, if he paced himself and boxed a little more in a longer fight, I could see him possibly winning. Where do you rank Lewis among heavyweights then?
