I can understand how some people could find Ranallo's voice and style grating. He does a Japanese wrestling show on the AXS network and he's perfect for that.

I actually think he was OK in Pride. Speaking of which...this was a pretty funny prank that Bas Rutten got Mirko Cro Cop to pull on Ranallo when he 1st joined Pride. Fast Forward to 2:30 of this video...

I turn the sound OFF when Lampley is talking. He knows NOTHING about boxing, he calls shots that don't land and acts like a girl at the sight of blood.
He is the worse announcer ever and has to have had and "in" to maintain his job this long.

Theres is no one who knows how to interview a fighter right after a bout.
Theres no set way to handle that inteview so these boobs who have never fought on any level have no clue with a fighter that has been hurt or robbed or both!
I think interviews should be conducted 20 minutes after their bouts if you want an honest and "clear" opinion from them on the bout.

I actually like him too and enjoy his commentary. He also seems neutral with his comments which is how a fight should be called.

Wasn't Pacheco used for a lot of Chavez fights on Showtime too or pay per view maybe? And what makes you say that about Atlas? How has he been boorish or hypocritical? I haven't heard much of him.

He would also often identify fighters, referees and even his co host by the wrong name. Whitaker was "Pee wee," Joe Cortez "Cordoba," and his co host Steve Albert "Marv" at the time the Marv Albert scandal was hot news. Steve Albert was obviously annoyed by it LOL. He was awful. Really bad.

Shame there will never be another Don Dunphy.. I know Pachecho ****** but I'd much rather have him than the even more obnoxious Jim Lampley.. Nick Charles was decent but unfortunately he's no longer with us.. Bobby Czyz was top ot the line but I like Sugar Ray the best.. He's insightful, experienced, well spoken, and very intelligent..

Ferdie Pacheco.

Brought absolutely nothing of value to the broadcasts. At least some of the other bad commentators brought unintentional comedy.

Often had his usual air of smugness about him, and gave us gems like "Pee Wee is fighting just like Meldrick Taylor" in reference to Whitaker fighting Chavez.

Ummm...NO, Taylor threw lots of punches and took a lot, he was winning by outworking Chavez. Whitaker was using lots of movement and angles.

Since you specified "most annoying" rather than just the worst, Teddy Atlas is an easy choice. He's the kind of guy who I would move my seat if I were stuck next to him. A totally boorish hypocrite.

Yep, he's so full of it with his righteousness and so passionately speaking out against mismatches (Elvir Muriqi anyone?).

Also received the most credit any trainer has ever gotten for "willing" his fighter to victory when his fighter fights at a snail's pace against a fighter suffering from HGH-itis.
