I think drugs, but his chin wasn't too good either.

I liked Ike too and another unbeaten fighter Joe Mesi. In my case, I wasn't really expecting much, except for them to win.

Kevin Kelley is another one. I believe he won a piece of the lightweight title but struggled whenever he really stepped up often (Hamed, Morales, Barrera).

I tend not to care if someone is or will be an all-time great, just how good and entertaining their fights are to me anyway.

Compare Mayorga's career to most professonals...I would say he accomplished a good bit. He beat one of the best pure technicians in boxing, won his division, etc. Its professional prize fighting and not every fighter will be the greatest.

Jose Luis Lopez-This guy was an extremely hard puncher at 147. But he was too inactive with his punches. I thought he could have done better than he did and possibly had more significant fights at 147.
Yes!! Solis. he would be on my list and the big Cuban Habenero broke my heart. So much talent...Such a waste.

A not-so-stellar chin that goes back to his amateur days, and his love life, which caused him to be upset by Ted Sanders in the first place back in 1982.
