Even more remarkable considering he is talking about his favorite watering hole...."the weenie hut" free refills of Pepsi on Tuesdays if you order two weenies.

Who is that particular halfwit who was arguing with me several months ago that Golovkin was the best middleweight of all time and would make short work of Hagler and Robby? Is this the same halfwit? I get the stampeding herd mixed up.

There are a few, Elroy is actually amusing though.

Ali could **** and to say otherwise is silly. He was 6'3 and 220 odd pounds so that is some raw power. Add to that his speed and we know F=MA and you get a serious force behind his shots.

exactly. he was not a great puncher, but his speed, accuracy and size meant his shots were still deadly. Plus he often didn't sit down on his punches.

As someone else said, look how many guys got serious cuts vs Ali. Cooper and Quarry immediately come to mind. His shots were sharp and crisp.

The stoppages of Foreman and Bonavena were through exhaustion and the Liston ko was a joke. Where are all the rest of his 1 round ko's? The "phantom punch" disappeared!

That stoppage came from a perfectly timed left hook. If you're going to pretend you know what you're talking about at least do some research.

The Bonavena KO was from one of the best Left-Hooks ever seen in Heavyweight history..similar to Robinson vs Fullmer.

True statement. And Ali was not known as a lefhooker, i.e. he did not throw or rely on the big, dramatic looking lefhooks a la Frazier or Tommy Morrison. He threw them, though, and sometimes with great effect. Strangely, his lefhooks tended to be tight instead of sweepers.
