I dont believe lennox ever ducked tyson back in the day. as much as I never liked lennox's arrogance in his younger years he did always take on the most dangerous fighters and strived to fight the best.

im not sure who wins prime 4 prime. tyson was obviously a shell of himself when he fought lennox so its not a great predictor on what would have happened earlier in his career. I could see tyson getting lennox out of there early just as easily as I could see lennox wearing tyson down and taking him late. tough to call

At that stage there was never a formal offer. It was a a comment made by the trainer, that they'd both end up fighting each other. Lewis said in the documentary that at that time(when it was suggested) that he wanted no part of it. He was still developing while Tyson was wrecking people

I agree with you. I could see Tyson to get in early, I can also see the fight playing out similar to how it did when they did eventually fight. Lewis controlling the range, peppering with jabs, that uppercut and his left hook right hand combo were special

I posted a tape, but you chose to label me as a "Hater" for posting that tape. i pointed out in my post faults of Lewis, but you chose not to address those faults but to ridicule me personally. You now are looking for back up of Scott & Joseph to help you out, because you are unable to address my questions i put forward on Lewis vs Tyson of 1986.... You are pathetic.

If you had addressed my points from the video i posted up, then i am quite sure a very good discussion could have been had. But as always on this forum it is criminal to discuss or mention Lennox Lewis. On the other rival boxing forum (which im not a member) There is a current question on Lennox Lewis resume, which has over 400+ replies. Many of those replies i agree with and many i don't. But those members who have posted the comments i agree with are not labelled as "Haters".. it's as tho you along with Joseph & Scott cannot bring yourselves to ever discuss Lewis or allow anyone else to ever mention him in anything other than a "Be crazy about" Way..You are cutting Lewis out of Boxing History by not letting him be debated. You hold him in such high regard that most boxing fans laugh at your "Smitten with" idolization of the guy..I read how some rate Lennox as a top 5 ATG Heavyweight, which is simply fanciful.

Nope i don't have any issues. But the shoe hurts you when it's on the other foot eh. i have been personally attacked by you on several occasions in the last month, but it is meaningless to me. I am here to debate the sport of boxing of which i know quite a bit about, and in particular i know almost everything about Lennox Lewis. So when he is mentioned i like nothing better than to correct, if i feel the poster is wrong in what he claims about Lewis. If i claimed Muhammad Ali was knocked down by a "Lucky Punch" from Henry Cooper. Then i am sure many Ali fans would correct me. If i claimed Muhammad Ali vs Larry Holmes was a good fight and that Holmes would beat any version of Muhammad Ali, again i am sure i would be corrected by the Muhammad Ali posters on the forum. But does that make me a "Muhammad Ali Hater"?... No it doesn't.. You posted a topic and i genuinely replied, with a video as you asked and some points of that video as well as points to discuss. But you ignored my video posting and labelled me a Hater! You labelled me a hater because you could not address what i posted.
