Jones has plenty of good wins between 94-2003. Plenty.

Maybe not Rahman and McCall or Akinwande level but you know, wins like that don't come around often.
Then name them?.. Who are these big fights?

Name them or quit debating.. Time to crap or get off the pot

      1. Toney
      2. Hopkins
      3. Griffin
      4. Tarver
      5. Hill
      6. Ruiz
      7. Johnson
      8. Gonzalez
      9. McCallum
      10. Woods

Could include Tate, Harding, Lucas, Sosa, Malinga.

Now give me Lennox's massively superior list.

Who did John David Jackson beat?

Who did the other MW "champions" he should have fought beat?

"Coasting" is your interpretation. I don't see it that way.

A guy Roy Jones should have fougt at Middleweight, John David Jackson, lost to a guy Roy Jones beat, Jorge Castro.

Oh and he lost to Hopkins aswell.

But Roy should have fought the "Champion" Jackson.

But Roy beat all the champions at LHW. "Oh but they arent good champions. Who did they beat?"

              Ridiculous.

                I already did...

And this basically shows that Roy has no depth if griffin is the 3rd best win, and an ancient jr mid is on your list..
Gonzalez and woods were nowhere near as good as guys like ruddock, mercer, tommy Morrison, vitali..

Roy has the big wins over toney and hopkins, but afterwards it's mediocre opponents,,

Though I would have tarver and ruiz at 3,4.. Those were really good wins.. Then montel and Harding.. Woods was nothing special, decent fighter but basically lost everytime he stepped up

What was he doing then... What other possible reason could there be for him to take no big fights in nearly 9 years and be content to fight Vinny paz, lucas, etc on hbo.. Yeah it was probably a business decision, but I don't think you can discount it when ranking his resume in terms of atg resumes...

                    That's not in order.

Ok and the fact you've got Oliver McCall, Hasim Rahman, Shannon Briggs and Akinwade in your list shows Lewis' lack of depth.

On what planet are they "major fights"?

Clinton Woods lost every time he stepped up? Oliver McCall lost everytime he stepped down.

Henry Akinwande's best win is? Peter McNeely?

Yet you include these jokers on your list but then dismiss Woods? He's better than both of them.

The list I've given for Jones is better than Lewis' list.

Your twisting words about John David Jackson,, I merely used him as an example, when setting the tone for how Roy's career went.. He was severely protected by his dad til 92 when roy fired him and got with actual promoters, then took his first step up fights vs limited Castro and vaca in 92..
Then as a business decision it was probably decided that we will cash out only for a toney fight and ignore the other guys, and choses to fight fringe contender for a vacate belt... You can't act like hopkins was nothing more than a fringe cintender at the time.. He had beaten no one of note except for some espn fighters.. That's why it was an undercard fight and not a main event fight between "the worlds top 2 middleweights" as some on this thread try and make it out as.. Hindsight yeah that was probably true, but at the time this fight wasn't a big deal.. Hopkins was nothing more than a fringe contender.. That's not even debatable, I would love to know who hopkins had beaten prior to the vacate title fight with Roy on an undercard of Jessie fergueson.. Lmao
