Did Frazier deserve the 3rd Ali fight

I have a question for the guys that were around back then, and saw the events of the 70s heavyweight division unfold..

question is- Did frazier deserve a third fight with Ali, especially since it was a world title fight..

In the internet age, i can see this fight being proclaimed as cherrypick by ali, since the 2nd fight wasnt very competitive or exciting compared to part 1..

Frazier didnt have any notable wins after foreman loss that could propel him back into the rankings..
Since losing to foreman and ali 2, in clear fashion, why did frazier get the 3rd ali fight...
Do you consider it a cherrypick, money fight, that just happened to turn into a classic fight..

Leading up to the 3rd meeting, what did frazier do to warrant a 3rd fight...

You must not know much about the bad blood Ali and Frazier had. Frazier always looked at his 2 fights with ali unfinished business, and once Ali started talking again it made frazier hold an even bigger grudge and anger towards ali. he was prepared to die in that fight.

As for the fight Ali used it an an oppurtinity to get away from his wife and as a cherry pick. it turned out not to be so easy. All of the events leading up to the fight and after are described in crisp detail in this deocumentary below. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU WATCH IT lol

Frazier got his ass molly whopped for the majority of that fight. Ali was landing all kinds of punishment on Frazier that entire fight. His trainer did the right thing by stopping it. Even though they were both dead tired, and Frazier had inflicted a lot of damage on his own, Frazier just couldn't see the punches coming. No, he didn't deserve it. Ali did.
