When Matthew Hilton lost his title to Bam Bam Hines, the canadian was highly-regarded, and the welterweight division in the early 1990s, very few talk about these fights, Brown-Blocker, Davis-Breland, Taylor-Davis, McGirt-Brown.

I could talk about those fights for hours. I thought the Hines fight was alright but Hilton's fight with Drayton was even more thrilling IMO.

I guess some fights that hold some significance for me as a Canadian were Shaun OSullivan vs the underrated simon Brown, Willie Dewitt vs Bert Cooper these silver medallist's failed in there us network debuts.
Another great fight which I saw live was the Maurice Blocker/ Simon Brown fight on Tyson Ruddock 1 undercard.

Jorge arce vs Hussien on the morales-manny undercard

Great fight, with a bloodied and damaged arce coming back and stopping Hussien late.. Great action fight for the undercard
