Sure.... But it often gets talked about, because Cooper virtually had him out on his feet.... Was it the 4th?... Memory is awful atm

Sure it held some type of compubox record too, least at the time
That's how I remember it... And they must have shipped enough leather to saddle a shire horse...

          Forgotten fights

The head butting brawl in 1960 between Giardello and Fullmer
that ended in a draw. A CLASSIC

Junior Jones - Kennedy Mc Kinney should get more love imo.

That and the Boxing After Dark classic, Barrera vs. McKinney. Which was a great debut for the HBO series.

I love Barrera, I'm waiting for a couple of more fights in the mail and then I'm going through his career set next, as I didn't catch the end of his career and not the beginning until he fought McKinney. I remember McKinney saying Barrera wasn't the hardest puncher he had fought, but he did hit hard and committed to every shot and considered him a good finisher then if he had you hurt.

                      Indeed it does.....

Zivic is notoriously overlooked, which is why I've got him on my avatar...

Rarely see any mention of his fights with LaMotta, Billy Conn, Jenkins and Burley..
