joe louis i could never consider to be a "great" defender,, he was ok, but lets not act like he was a defensive genius,, his genius was in his punches,,, thats what made him great, not his average defense

I Was talking about the video quality and was saying Louis was not a fast mover. I never said Louis was a great defensive fighter or that he was hard to hit just that it's not as easy as most people think it is

Had a sound defence for an attack minded fighter, but guys like Charley Burley, Holman Wiliams, Jimmy Bivins, Hopkins, Toney and Winky, were all technically, better defenders than Joe imo
