Been at this long enough, there have been so very many. Believe it or not, I seen Tyson-Douglas and Jones-Tarver coming. I did not see Ali-Foreman, Spinks-Holmes, Leonard-Hagler and a lot of others though.

I'm almost kind of embarrassed by this but back in 2007 I thought Hatton could beat Mayweather. I also didnt think Broner would lose to Maidana

        Tyson/Holyfield
        Jones Jr/Tarver II

There's is no way in heck I saw Pacquiao/Marquez 4 ending in a KO. So I was wrong and shocked all in one.

Don't worry, old threads get found and brought up every now and then for ****s and giggles, and a lot of people were with you on that one. Most of whom won't admit it now to save themselves, but there was a lot.

I think weight definitely played a part. Moving up a whole 10 lbs isn't usually easy.

Hopkins still would have beat him at 160 but the jump in weight certainly didn't help.

The Hatton fight had some interesting possabilities. Hatton has become a dry humping, safety first type fighter and it seemed to me that his father (in particular) was messing him up by advocating this strategy. I am not so sure that if Hatton had fought like he had against Zoo, putting punches together and swarming, instead of holding and hitting for the fights preceding the Floyd fight, that he may have had more success.

I didn't think Hatton would beat Floyd but Hatton had fast feet to close the counter punching gap, and Hatton could be a relentless swarmer. It was a deceptively dangerous fight for Floyd....If Hatton had showed up fighting as he had for Zoo Floyd would be fighting a better version!

Floyd timed Hatton beautifully but Hatton had a chance....I don't think it was absurd to pick Hatton for that fight.

Another interesting thing about that fight was that Floyd showed a lot more physical strength than people had attributed to him. Hatton could not make it ugly but it was reasonable to assume he might be able to do so inside. I can't laugh at anyone for picking Hatton in that fight.

Pavlik was an excellent fighter. he almost beat Martinez, a guy who IMO is truly overrated but no slouch. Pavlik was limited but still managed to beat some of the best.

Worst ever?.. When I predicted Duran would wear down Hearns.

Khan Garcia. I thought Khan would run rings round Garcia but in round 2 I got the feeling Garcia would land something big.
Tyson Danny Williams. I know Danny and used to train with him years ago. I was in Thailand at the time of the fight and decided not to stay up and watch my old friend being beat up.
