People on this forum need to get to a local show and watch guys coming up fight hard in every round and put the hearts on their sleeves to be seen by all!
I've been involved in boxing since I could walk my Dad handled fighters for different matchmakers and I did the same for many years. I also ran my own gym and had the top gym in Conn and New England for many years. I trained kids from 11 yrs old up till open class amatuers and had alot of success. I was the State Chairman for J O Boxing and the Region One team coach atb the Olympic Training Center. Handled plenty of guys on the first ESPN shows for TV back in the day!

Who else on this board can cover my path? Who here has worked corners in major amatuer & pro events? WHO??? Tired of this bull ****, I'm not trying to intimidate or belittle anyone but when someone who's experienced the events that I have and spent a life time in the sport on the gym level, business level, managing, promoting and actively in the corners gets callede ****** by a boxing forum champion I think its stinks!
I have videos dsent to me ever week to evaluate boxers, I do it here on the forum, try getting an experienced pro trainer to work for free!!!
If anyone here wants to hire me for inperson evaluations it costs money to get it! You have trainers on this board who give advices for free then you have fans who call them nalmes and belittle them. Its a joke, enough!!
While I respect all of your obvious experience and knowledge about the sport (In fact I PM'd you and told you thank you for sharing your experience with us and sent you a friend request)

But later I just related a story in the training section to add some insight to why I was asking the question that I was (Tough guy trainers was the subject of my thread)

And you Ray made some disrespectful comment about my simple sparring story as being fabricated when in the story I gave a little background info about me just to give the readers a better handle on the situation and that I was far from a novice in the sport of Boxing or athletics.

But still despite that information given you still expressed your belief that it was not a factual account of the events that took place on the day in question.

And to me that is pure arrogance on your part.

It's nice to have experience but those who think they know everything often know nothing, because they stopped learning long ago.

      You'll have to excuse Ray.

In his mind, only he has any experience and if anyone else shares their experience it's not true.

      Ray fabricates stories himself anyway.

He once said that in the first Emile Griffith-Gaspar Ortega fight that Griffith was boo'd out the arena and most people felt the fight was a robbery which has got to be one of the furthest things from the truth I've read. He's an Ortega fan aswell to no surprise.

Same thing with canelo,, canelo quickly realized this dude aint old shane or trout...

I think guys give good efforts early, but floyd takes their fighting soul after a few rounds since he shuts down everything you try, and makes you look like a novice pro..
He does that to about everyone he fights, so floyd should get credit for taking their fighting soul..
Only a handful of guys continue to put in solid effort after floyd shows his dominance ie
oscar, cotto, hatton, chavez, JLC, famoso are about the only guys i have seen not fold after 4 rounds like canelo, ghost, shane, zab, etc
        very good points as usual.
Thinking about it pacman is another one who would be of the cotto, hatton, oscar school

Add Maidana to that list. Mayweather will get busted up if he grows a pair and fights Marcos. Maidana will bring it and put something on Mayweather that he has never felt.

Whereas i do agree that maidana would put up a much better fight than canelo and ghost did, i think mayweather would beat him in a fight that looks like the N'dou fight.. Floyd just has too much movement, defense, and ring generalship to repeatedly get tagged by maidana like how he did ortiz, broner, etc...

I dont think maidana has the iron chin, and pressure technique that JLC had to really give floyd problems... Maidana would put up a good fight, but floyd has faced and dealt with better caliber of fighters in the past

Dear god, this has to be among the most pitiful posts I've ever seen on this board. What an incredibly sad cry for attention.

I feel utter pity for anyone so desperate to get themselves heard by demanding respect in the single most disrespectful manner. It's an insult to the great trainers and to the sport as a whole and a huge insult to people who are genuine.

In fact, I think there are a few cards missing from his deck to be frank. No one who is truly good at something needs to cry so loud and so consistently about it all over the internet, in every post, wherever he goes. Only severely insecure people, or bull****ters, act this way.

Grow up Ray. Act like the man you say you are and stop being a little ****ing girl crying about everything. Grow a pair mate. No one gives a **** what you've done if you are such a **** about it. Pathetic.

                Whitaker vs mayweather opponents

How would whitaker do against the 45 opponents that mayweathers faced and how would mayweather do against whitakers?

Whitaker could beat everyone on Floyd's resume, Floyd would do the same but probably fall short to a prime oscar and prime Tito. IMO

Enough of this bull ****, I'm so tired of dealing with people who would rather insult peoples opinions instead of just disagreeing!
I suppose Canelo gave his all too? The "fight" has been taken out of boxing and its become a "tag" event! Not only do the "top stars" don't give their all their opponents don't either!
Tired of you, I'd rather avoid you than continue to be called ****** from the safety of your computer. Have a great career in make believe boxing! Ray.
You tell him Ray!!! One of my favorite posters on this site hands down. That man speaks boxing more truely than 95% of the people on thi site.
