Who has beaten the highest number of belt holders? I got no idea but I'm guessing maybe Chavez?

I'm not going to even try and count, but the late Emile Griffith sure fought a lot of them. If you're talking about just title claimants then Hamed fought over 10.

The record belongs to DLH, who beat 19 different WBA/WBC/WBO/IBF champions.

Chavez and Mayweather are tied with the most past, present and future world champions beaten.

Here are the 19 past, present and future "generally recognized" (the "big 4") champions defeated by DLH:

          Forbes
          Mayorga
          Sturm
          Campas
          Vargas
          Castillejo
          Gatti
          Quartey
          Chavez
          Camacho
          Whitaker
          Gonzalez
          Leija
          Hernandez
          Ruelas
          Molina
          Paez
          Bredahl
          Dorsey

I don't think anyone can top that.

            Really not sure.

According to a reporter on ESPN he said that if Mayweather beats Guererro he will equal Chavez' record which I think was 21.

That said, I'm really not sure I haven't really looked into it.

Mayweather is at 18 right now - so he will tie DLH if he beats Alvarez next month.

              Chavez defeated 15 world champions.

Hmm, interesting. I suppose that the reporter was mis informed.

I'll have to have a look into it when I can.

With all the federations and junior & super weight classes this "accomplishment" isn't that big of deal!!!
The WBO & IBF federations used to be a side show and to consider all these so-called champions true men who defeated top contenders to become champions is a joke. Most of todays "champions" are contenders and some are number 5 thru 12 at that!!

Sounds like an accomplishment but its not!!!
