The outcome of the first fight was totally unexpected. Could anyone else in history have done that to Joe. Joe louis possibly?

    Foreman vs Frazier

No fighter I've seen could have beaten Joe like George did.

George was a human wrecking ball that night and Joe was the perfect
    target.

Not to deminish what George did but Frazier was tailor made for George! Joe was right in front and moving in, once George landed and began to back up Joe it was over. George's only problem was punching down but he got Joe to stand up by punching underneath! This was also a huge mismatch in size and the smaller man gave up power too. George at 6'4" and Joe at 5' 10" (barely) and bending down was just to slow for George too. No one in Fraziers camp wanted this fight just like Tysons people would pass on George but to Joes credit he always wanted the best and George was the best at that time. Simply the wrong style with power for Joe to deal with, Frazier was a true warrior and never ducked anyone! He actually went back for more! Ray

I always thought that Frazier vs Marciano would burn the barn down!! I do favor Rocky only because his work rate was slightly better than Joes and Rocky had power in BOTH hands!

Marciano and Frazier would look like a Halloween party when it was over.

Liston maybe but he would have been more patient I think, leading to a more competitive fight.
Tyson could pull it off but there's always the chance he's dragged into the later rounds too.

          Lucas Matthysse.

Yeah Liston, Tyson, Louis. I don't know, maybe Lennox Lewis if he catches him with a good right cross and stuns him.

Tyson and Dempsey would be my top choices. They both came out in the first round looking for the kill, and that's what it would take to decimate Joe Frazier. Basically catching him cold. Fighters like Louis, Liston, Lewis, and Wladimir have the power to do it, but they are all very patient and deliberate, especially against the caliber of fighter that Frazier was.
