    Frazier vs Mathis

I saw Joe vs Buster at MSG...I believe it was the first scheduled bout
At the " new" Garden ...might have been 1968 or thereabouts

Mathis Sr was a lot bigger and better than his son who fought Tyson. He was ahead on points in the first half of the Frazier fight.

Liston would be my best bet, bigger man who could catch Frazier at the end of his punches while Joe is trying to get in range

I could see Tyson blowing him out too, but I really waffle on what would happen in a matchup between them. They would be at close quarters and although Tyson was much faster, Frazier had a craftiness to him which might get him through the early rounds

isn't there a boxing saying don't hook with a hooker, and Tysons is gonna get get there far quicker. If joe attempts to hook to tysons body his head will be ripped with uppercuts and Tyson could get full leverage on them and fraziers head would be leaning down to meet them. Frazier doesn't have speed, use of grappling and smothering, powerful uppercuts and a chin that would hold up to mikes power. Those of the kind of things you need to beat Tyson, his aggressive style would be suicidal. He would last ALOT longer than his son though and that's not saying much

Mike Tyson. No doubt about it. It would have been even worse.

Tyson's aggressive style would be suicide, and Frazier was a far-superior infighter than Tyson.

The only one that comes to mind is Liston.

just picture it man, both inside wouldn't clinch. frazier dip hook dip hook, hook hook, dip, Tyson hook to body, uppercut, hookercut, uppercut, slip, hook, hook to ribs and uppercuts nose into brain....

                    FRazier vs Tyson

We're talking about the Frazier vs Foster and the FOTC Frazier.

Not a pasty Ill conditioned fighter that fought
                    Foreman

Joe Would be a MAJOR test for Mike. If it enters the 5th round and beyond
I believe Joe would punish Mike.

Frazier was every bit as good a fighter as Tyson!

i just cant see it, fraziers one hell of a fighter but you rarely get 2 guys that move straight forward, don't clinch and just....fight and in a situation when its a real fight it ends quick with the winner being the faster stronger more aggressive guy, both are going to get tagged so really the 2 main factors are chin and power, frazier wont get to five unless he just keeps getting up but Tyson was a better finisher than foreman so not likely
