Though I think Charles was the greater fighter overall, I have either Moore or Foster as the greatest lightheavy.

I have no idea how you can justify ranking Moore over Charles with his three defeats to him.

Toney's fights at 175 weren't all that impressive. Can you imagine Ezzard Charles ever losing to Drake Thadzi? I sure hope not.

toney lost/drew some fights out of laziness and bad training do you really think thadzi is better than toney or buster douglas better than tyson? and for a middleweight to go up to heavy and beat hollyfield and not get knocked out by samuel peter twice ect his shown me that if he stayed at light heavy he would have been one of the best.

If you're talking about all time greats, excuses for laziness and bad training don't cut it. The fact is that he never beat any notable lightheavyweight and doesn't deserve to be rated there. Not getting KO'd by a big slow heavyweight is also irrelevant. He didn't stay at that division because he couldn't make the weight for more than a short time span.

Amen to that. I see too many fighters getting passes for that. Roberto Duran is another one. Toney doesn't rank anywhere near top light heavyweights of all time.

i just think that on his best day (which i use to gauge all my imaginary boxing fights) he beats alot of the best light heavies. another one ill throw in who didnt do much at light heavy is joe calzaghe. he might be another top ten light heavy no one has mentioned.

No one has mentioned him because he's not top 10. Even I know that.

                    BSet light heavyweight

Michael Spinks would have been a tough night for any light heavyweight

calzaghe would be hightly rated at 168. of course its my opinion but I don't rate any fighter who only had a handful of fights at a given weight class as an all time great at that one weight class. roy jones may have won titles in 4 divisions but he did whup near the entire lightheavy class at one time which is why he's rated an atg at lightheavy.
