  • Who has the best resume in boxing history

    1st one that comes to mind is ALI which includes Archie moore, Sonny Liston, Floyd Patterson, George Chuvalo, Cleveland Williams, Jerry Quarry, Joe Frazier, Bob Foster, Ken Norton, George Foreman, Ron Lyle, Earnie Shavers and Leon spinks, is there anymore? Basically some of the hardest guys in history, does any other boxer (any weight class) top that? If you were just assesing boxers on guys they beat, whos resume looks the best?

        Evander Holyfield....Tyson x2, John Ruiz, Oquendo, Valuev (we all know he won that fight), Holmes, Foreman, Vaughn Bean, Michael Moorer, Alex Stewart, Carlos DeLeon, Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Rid**** Bowe, Buster Douglas, Michael Dokes, Ray Mercer, Hasim Rahman.

        If we're also adding losses/draws as above - Lennox x2, Bowe +2, Ruiz +2, Byrd, Toney, Donald, Ibragimov

        I think that has to be as deep as anybodies.

                  My most respected ATG's;

                  Willie Pep ---W229 (65) L 11 (stopped 6) D 1

                  Archie Moore----W185 (131) L 27 (st.7) D 10

                  Sugar Ray Robinson--W 173 (108) L 19 (st1) D 6

                  these were three of the greatest boxers that ever lived, no one since them has this type of recorded resume!!! For Robinson to be stopped ONCE in 200 pro fights is unbelieveable. He was stopped by exhaustion foighting the LtHvy champ and was winning the fight easily! Moore with the most KO wins in the modern times! Pep is the Master boxer with the fastest hands and feet, the true example of "hit and not get hit"! Ray

                    Benny Leonard springs straight to mind. Also Maxie Rosenbloom.
