If we are talking wins and losses it's hard to say. Oakland Billy Smith would be up there in that regard.

If we're talking just wins I would say Robinson, Charles, Greb or Langford.

    Or Armstrong.

    One of those 5.

I think Robinson gets overrated because people believe they're supposed to say he's the greatest.
Well, why don't you think he's the greatest? Care to give some reasoning with reference to Robinson's achievements/resume?

...and you are probably the most racist poster currently posting in the history section. Very transparent, and making you look kinda dumb.
So far no one here has successfully been able to challenge anything I've said. Deleting my statements or insulting me personally is not a challenge.

You're dismissing all black fighters and placing fighters of other races on a higher pedestal because of their skin colour, it's pretty obvious to be fair.

Also, we're not discussing the fighters' character, we're discussing resumes. Your opinion of Ali or Robinson being scumbags is totally irrelevant.

You haven't back up any of your points at all except occasionally for one phrase that is very vague and isn't up to much. I'm afraid if you think Ali isn't one of the GOAT's then it takes a little more than that to justify it.

Also you seem to rate Monzon pretty highly and don't call him a de****able human being despite the fact he threw his partner from a balcony...

Bumped to get this message out. If someone can't seperate their bigotry from boxing, everything they say about it is worthless to me.

I already explained that Ali received too many gift decisions as well as sloppy performances against the likes of Leon Spinks and Jimmy Young. Robinson lost to Jake Lamotta, was stopped by Joey Maxim, and his overall work is not up to par with Greb. That's not a bad thing as Robinson was still impressive. But not up to par with Greb.

Oh yeah, not like your lame counterpoints of claiming your opinion is reality and someone disagreeing with you is living in a fantasy. And your indignity of being (correctly) identified as a racist is hilarious. But not quite as funny as calling Ricardo Lopez's resume as one of the greatest ever.

When you combine having a bunch of bad ass victories with the curve for difficulty, it's probably Langford. He didn't beat all the top guys he fought, but he faced the best fighters from Lightweight to Heavyweight, beating Joe Gans in 1903 and knocking out Flowers in 1922 (with 3-4 more years of fights in him after). In between, he missed almost no one and beat more than he didn't with a draw against Walcott, a newspaper push with Ketchell, a loss to Johnson but wins over the rest of that murderer's row of avoided bad asses. Greb isn't far off, but he didn't have Dempsey at all (vs. a loss to Johnson).
