carl froch seems to hijack logic
it's kind of his thing. in the ring it allows a man without much talent or the appearance of craft to the layman to win fights and survive a gauntlet of opponents unmatched by his contemporaries. he's won three world championships.
i'm going to pick him against kessler.
i cant tell you how many nsber's tried to convince me he was a great.
some history sectioneers as well
you take out lucian bute (just like the great liberado andrade,) and you gain his power
it's like highlander.Last edited by New England; 06-08-2012, 08:17 AM.

brother it's 9:30 am on a weekday here and i've got a mortgage and i own a business
i am not doing that. not presently. i can hardly use the searching function on this website as it is.
i'll glance quickly through the "history today" section if you'd like.
i remember succinctly the discussion of carl froch's credentials in a hall of fame context with folk who were actually qualified to participate in such a discussion (and not your typical nsbers,)
whether or not some of the literally 15-20 people who post here were pro froch hall of fame (as in they'd vote for him if he was on the ballot,) in said threads i could not tell you. there's a lot of talk in those threads and things move quickly.
one or two days after his bute win i heard talk of a hall of fame bid and the "G" word
there were a few threads from the few days after the bute fight and they could probably be found there. you are certainly welcome to look.
the dates would be the 26-30 of may. all in nsb

Perhaps at 168, which he is one of the greatest fighters ever at that weight. Not really saying a whole much though.
People have argued his case for thee HOF, he is an arguable HOF'er IMO. But that diesnt mean he's great.
Again, I've seen no one from here consider him a great fighter.
