  • Best British Boxer Of All Time?

I just read Glenn McCrory saying that he thought (I think) that Carl Froch is the greatest British Boxer of all time.

Now while I admire Carl - and have watched him since he turned pro - he's not even close to my top five so far.

Lennox avenged both his losses. If Carl can do just one then he'd shoot up.

But going further back I would say Jimmy Wilde is Britains number one.

I'd love to hear what others think.

Toss-up between Jimmy Wilde and Bob Fitzsimmons.

      My pick is Wilde.

That is beyond absurd. Gawd, people are such frontrunners now.

I think Glen McCrory is possibly the furthest from a Historian you could get.

Ireland would have still been part of the UK when he was born
