Just watched this
and this:
and ive even more impressed with marciano, his use of fainting the right and following up with it is amazing.
but still i dont see many misses, i see alot of shots well blocked by moore, and alot of fainted rights that look like misses.
but over all in the 4 rounds i watched i saw about as many misses by marciano against moore as i see in 1 5 second flurry of hooks from tyson against no name opponets. and like moores actually slipping the punches that miss, while tyson just misses the head completly.
maybe im not watching the right clips, perhaps you could provide a better one?
Is this the one??/
at 4:40-5:35 marcianos got moores back to the ropes, i see 2-4 misses, if anything watching those 50 seconds of arcie moore and marciano trade off is clear proof that marciano was better at throwing combos, or atleast that he is rather quite underated in the combo department.Last edited by Spartacus Sully; 05-02-2012, 03:32 AM.

Its not even like Moore was doing much to avoid the punches he was just lying on the ropes nearly finished, and because of Marciano's terrible accuracy he took ages to pulll the trigger. Tyson would have ended Moore with one punch in that state and it wouldnt have taken 9 rounds either.

Tyson was supremely gifted. Awesome offensive skill, great defense too.
Weaknesses were all mental.

Could have been the greatest of all time, he still was the most exciting fighter of all time. He could end a fight in the first round or with one punch at any time. His power and superior head movement made him unbeatable, but when he hooked up with Don King he let women and bad decisions (firing Rooney and Bill Clayton, marrying that gold digger and not training for the Douglas fight) destroy him.
