Might be a tad bit early, but because I don't see him getting past DeMarco I'm saying Linares.

Can't believe Miguel Cotto hasn't been mentioned, I thought he'd be all over this thread.

Definitely not too early. Linares was already KO'd since the Demarco fight.

Linares was also KOd...BEFORE his fight with DeMarco. So, DeMarco wasn't his firts loss.

Salgado was his first loss then DeMarco. I didn't know he was beaten for a third time & I was trying not to speak to soon, but it turns out I spoke too late.

I know its wasn't his first loss, but after he lost to Darchynian, Cristain Mijares fell way off. Before that fight I can remember many saying Mijares was a p4p top 10 fighter.

I think I was one of them. I think I had him as high as number 8. Dragged a friend to watch the Darchinyan fight (we bought good floor tix) promising him a matador-bull type of show...

A lot of people (including me) were fooled by Mijares. But he's going to get a huge opportunity to upgrade his status if he gets Donaire this spring.

Not sure if its been mentioned but after Hameds loss to Barrera in his "comeback" fight against Calvo (i think that was his name) Hamed looked to have lost all luster, very dissapointing way to end an entertaining career.
