Lol i'l go right ahead and assume u disagree then Dan!

I think in terms of pure speed at this point he is on par, if he's slower then its only by a Fraction! Floyds the quicker draw tho i'l give u that

You think Ortiz is fast? I think his speed is dead average.

If we're going by his last fight Mayweather looked lighting fast from what I saw.

I don't think Ortiz is anywhere near Mayweather solely in terms of speed.

I see that being very apparent on Saturday.

i think victor is strong and young enough to make for some nice theater, if not for a competitive fight

the kid can punch. ortiz has one punch knockout power for the first few rounds.

however, i think floyd's consistency, especially late in the fight, will get him a comfy UD
            oh and his skills

if macros maidana and andre berto can land flush right hands on ortiz...

imagine the sort of field say floyd mayweather will have with one of the most educated right hands ever thrown.

floyd might hit a bump in the road or two, but i think it's going to be victor getting his face touched up by the end of the fight.

i've said this all over the place and i'lll say it again

if floyd cant tie victor up (if ortiz is strong enough to keep his hands free,) this will be a fun fight that will bring the best out in floyd. i don't think his legs are what they once were.

if he can pot shot, easy work. especially after ortiz begins to tire.

Another awful prediction from the same guy who scored Berto-Ortiz a draw.

You are comparing a far out of prime shot Ray Leonard at the very end of his career to Floyd Mayweather, and then comparing Terry Norris, who is also better than Victor Ortiz, to Victor Ortiz.

I don't see how this fight is similar to that one. That is like comparing the Tyson of the Danny Williams fight to this version of Mayweather and I just don't see how you can draw that comparison.

Mayweather also does not have the out of ring troubles that Leonard had. And no, supposedly poking a guard who wouldn't let him into his house isn't an out of the ring issue when compared to Ray Leonard who was addicted to drugs.

I know it's just your opinion but everything that you wrote up there is just so left field it leaves people wondering where the hell you come up with this stuff.

It's a metaphor, not an exact direct comparison, jeez.

Look, half the people who give me feedback on this say I'm an idiot and the article is crap etc.

The other half show respect, compliment my work, and note what an astute comparison it is.

Guess which half I care about and which half I ignore?

                  Yup, you got it.

Bottom line, you gotta take a side and show some passion.

The absolute worst I can be wrong.
