LOL here we go with this mess. Hopkins and Jones weren't even in the same weight class? There wasn't even a high demand for the fight until after Hopkins beat Trinidad because the fights fights wasn't even really competitive. And when ever they talked about a rematch Hopkins demanded a 50/50 split when he didn't have the drawing power to demand that. You people kill me with this crap.
No, we don't kill you,.... you are still here Pepe...... I was referring to something completely opposite.... well anyway you should start at the beginning of a thread not come in late and miss the entire point of the conversation.... by the way.... you don't have personal rights and expertise such as though I'm never allowed to mention their names. The fact is Hopkins is the biggest name on Roy's list,.... unfortunately they were of different sizes.... Don't wet yourself Fan boy........ you really do get your knickers in a knot....... stop being Pepe.
Now now we're trying to keep things believable :chuckle9:

IMO, Gerald McClellan had already wasted his potential by the time he fought Benn. Too many easy fights resulted in him forgetting the very good fundamentals he had a few years before. He was so predictable in the Benn fight- nothing but that big right and occasional left hook downstairs...that's it.
