The louis that fought marciano was #3 in the HW division I still don't see your point, he would have beat anyone at 37 years old besides marciano and charles.

btw SRR beats any version of graziano so that is a bad analogy

      So what?

That makes it a decent win, yes. Still doesn't change the fact he was shot.

Again, the fact he would beat anyone in the division at that time other than Marciano or Charles is merit to his greatness. He's so great that he can beat almost everyone in the division whilst being shot.

A not shot Louis beats any version of Marciano.

It's not a bad analogy because both Graziano and Louis are great fighters but the fact is both were shot when they fought Robinson and Maricano regarldess to the fact they were coming off winning streaks.

Hense, why neither get much credit for either win.

Louis was physically fine when he fought marciano, he had no physical problems besides slowing down a bit. He still had the power, and had a HUGE experience advantage. Not to mention he was much bigger and stronger.

No doubt a great win for marciano. The type of win that makes marciano an ATG

So it goes from good win to great win?

Clearly you are out of touch with reality if you blieve Louis was physically fine in his fight with Marciano, which he clearly was not.

It was a good win, at best.

Marciano is a ATG HW IMO, though.

              Talk about overrating.

A good win not a great win, can we all agree on that?

Marciano was an atg hw but the Louis win did nothing to enhance that

And almost certainly not Walcott at that time too!

For ****s sake. Joe didn't look anything like his old self. Period. It isn't underrated. It's typically noted as a win over a faded great. Fairly rated if you ask me. Could Louis beat some other guys at the time? probably. But nobody major. Louis wasn't good at all compared to his prime form. period
