That's got me pondering the "might-have-beens" again, I think I'll run that on Title Bout and see what comes up :thinking9:

That brought the best outta him because he had to fight back from knockdowns.

Hopkins is one of my favorite fighters and I've seen all of his fights, have you? If you did you would know their was a huge difference between Hopkins from 94 to present compared with early 1993-and before Hopkins. Hopkins learned from his losses and matured
B-Hop is my favorite look at my sig.

Most of his early fights were not on TV. But I have seen probable his last 35 or so. He was the same fighter against Roy as he was up until the Tito fight. Roy like he did to every body made him look bad.

As for fighters having more then 2 A+ wins. Yes of course most old time boxers who fought 6-12x a year have more big wins they had way more fights. Which is why it is dumb to compare them to modern fighters

Wonder if Pernell WHitaker would of done better in lists if he had wins against J.C.Chavez, Oscar and J.L.Ramirez the first time on his record?

hahaha did you just change that?

How you going to be a #1 Hopkins fan and think he never got better or improved since the Roy Jones fight? He was no where near his prime until after it because it made him a better fighter. I honestly couldn't even tell you when Hopkins prime was and be 100% sure about it because of the fact he got better with age.

40+ years old and still schooling the young bloods. GOTTA LOVE IT!

This is my latest list. Forgot Galaxy and cba writing out all the numbers for the upteenth time so he'd be about 38ish.

I only made this last week and Archie Moore is way too low for my liking already.
Lot of work in that list, where you gonna put Packy McFarland, Barn?

I actually count those all as wins and I think he might just miss the top 10 on my list, he didn't get on the last time I put down a list, though I wouldn't be mad at anyone with him in the lower end of the top 10, there are few with better resumes.

Haha, I'm just helping with the next 43 when Barn rounds it off. Solid list though we can always argue anyone's order. Hands up, I always knock Charles further down my list than I should and probably put Archie Moore up a few slots higher than most but lists are personal.
The Charles ploy is also to distract people from the fact that Baksi is slipped in somewhere

lol I actually didn't know anything about Baksi until you mentioned him to me awhile ago in a thread about the best heavyweight contenders. it is an excellent list though, I'm not sure if I'd switch the top 7 round at all, I've always ranked Charles higher than Moore though I know a lot of people do it the other way, I'd love to see Nelson in there but it is what it is.
