Age means nothing to Bernard Hopkins. As I said he got better as he fought on. Are we even talking about the same person? 22 in a row means nothing when your still coming up in the sport fighting nobody's. I don't think Hopkins hit his prime until the 1st Segundo Mercado fight. That brought the best outta him because he had to fight back from knockdowns.
Hopkins is one of my favorite fighters and I've seen all of his fights, have you? If you did you would know their was a huge difference between Hopkins from 94 to present compared with early 1993-and before Hopkins. Hopkins learned from his losses and matured
Most of his early fights were not on TV. But I have seen probable his last 35 or so. He was the same fighter against Roy as he was up until the Tito fight. Roy like he did to every body made him look bad.Comment

B-Hop was 28 years old, won 22 in a row before Roy and went undefeated for over a decade after Roy if that isn't a prime then I don't know what is.
As for fighters having more then 2 A+ wins. Yes of course most old time boxers who fought 6-12x a year have more big wins they had way more fights. Which is why it is dumb to compare them to modern fightersComment

How you going to be a #1 Hopkins fan and think he never got better or improved since the Roy Jones fight? He was no where near his prime until after it because it made him a better fighter. I honestly couldn't even tell you when Hopkins prime was and be 100% sure about it because of the fact he got better with age.
40+ years old and still schooling the young bloods. GOTTA LOVE IT!Comment

Haha, I'm just helping with the next 43 when Barn rounds it off. Solid list though we can always argue anyone's order. Hands up, I always knock Charles further down my list than I should and probably put Archie Moore up a few slots higher than most but lists are personal.
The Charles ploy is also to distract people from the fact that Baksi is slipped in somewhereComment
