wow, respect, and way to remember. I'm gonna try to do 10.

Tom Sayers ( LPRR 155lb HW champ. Iffen ya don't know the name you should google it. Right good reads mate I promise.)
    Ray Robinson
Jack NP Dempsey ( First p4p king, Said to be better than Sullivan. )
    Sam Langford
    Bob Fitzsimmons
    Harry Greb
    Archie Moore
Jem Mace. (toured the states with John C Heenan in the 1860's. EVERYONE owes a bit of their style to the Gypsy...he refaced boxing and redefined skills.)
    Nat Langham
Rocky Marciano ( I justify one of the worst "boxer" skilled HW's of all time by claiming he is the epitome of slugger. not p4p in skills but p4p in determination. Rocco is the p4p king of heart. Plus who at 180lbs has cracked a skull? Great, now, who weighing more has cracked a skull? p4p power)

I agree with you about ray Leonard, but I don't have Duran as high as a lot of posters around. Leonard's 39 fights is far too sparse ( christ Kid Williams had 200 plus and hardly lost a fight, Les Darcy's last 48 fights took just 47 months !!!, I can list 40 more at least who did that )I know he was an incredible talent but NO WAY does 39 match with guys who with 150 plus fights. there are others that I think are a little high, but I don't want to nit-pick too much on other posts, I don't believe in a definitive top 10 or even 3 and even though I have Robinson as number one, I don't have too much confidence that I'm right, because I suspect that some earlier fighters may have destroyed him. SRR's record alone gives him the claim rights,..... but who am I,...... or WE, to say.

Your'e right about Marciano. I can't stand it when idiots talk about skills or lack of it with Marciano. Rocky did some things in the ring that took GREAT SKILL. On youtube, somebody WHO KNOWS Boxing skills put a tribute showing film at different speeds of Rocky, for instance his ability to set up a killer blow after slipping under punches and a little step forward as he comes up and over with his hook. Do some morons actually think that a small HW that Knocked out -- "FORTY TWO" in just 49 fights, some posters (who have beaten nobody-- EVER) think this way !!!!!! WEIRD !!!!!!. .Keep up the good work M.
