Roberto Duran and Julio Cesar Chavez are the only guys with the combination of chin and inside fighting ability at 130-140

Escalera? Doubt it. You failed to name CARLOS ORTIZ. He'd def beat Pretty Boy. Maybe even stop him. He was good at hacking and grinding down big name fighters. And this Williams, which Williams is it?

Arguello, although maybe Floyd could outrun in for the decision. Maybe. That's an entertaining fight, especially at 130. Duran would have trouble with Mayweather's feet, too, but I think he could stop a 135 Floyd eventually. I would pick Chavez, too, just based on the trouble Mayweather had with Chavez-lite Castillo. The shoulder had a lot to do with it, but Chavez would out rumble Floyd on the inside. At 140, I want to say Aaron Pryor, but Floyd's too slick for him. Pryor would miss a lot and wouldn't end Floyd with one shot the way he would need to. Maybe Mosley? That would have been an incredible fight.

I mostly agree with this but Chavez had a lot of trouble with Roger Mayweather who held his own on the inside, they both certainly pose each other problems, I think Mayweather could get the better of the inside by mixing it up in a similar way that Whitaker did, the weight the match-up is fought is important though I always see it as a close one.

Exactly. At 135, Floyd wasn't the infighting virtuoso he is now. He was still effective at mid to long range, but inside, he didn't know what to do. After the Castillo fight, he picked up some good tricks that served him later on, especially against Hatton. But I think that pre-Castillo Mayweather gets run out of the ring. At 140...not sure. That fight is too close to call.

Floyd Mayweather is a handful for anyone at 130 IMO. I actually lean on him over most at that weight.

135, I would favour many over him. I think he's is probably competitive with most but I struggle to see him beating the likes of Duran, Ortiz or Whitaker. Floyd would struggle with Duran in the pocket massively. Like I said I believe he's at least competitive with many at 135 but I would favour quite alot over him.

140 the same. Although we didn't see much of Floyd at 140 it's evident he's a beast there. But someone like Chavez he is really going to struggle with IMO however I believe he COULD beat him and I believe it would be competitive with many at 140 but I would favour quite alot over him.

                  You think?

I think Floyd beats Mosley almot every time. Mosley loses clearly to Floyd at any weight at any time IMO.

I'm looking for one hard left hook to rattle Floyd and then another overhand to finish him. Floyd's got a little ***** in his armor, even for an orthodox fighter, if you throw the left hook right. Hatton landed a couple of flush ones hard. I'm not saying he would beat Mayweather, but Mosley could definitely put up a competitive fight.
