I dont like what Holmes did after '82 or after the Witherspoon fight, he fought guys like frenchman Rodriguez, Scott Frank and a 10-0 Marvis Frazier.

Greg Page and Pinklon Thomas could make a case as those whom Holmes allegedly ducked, while there's no doubt he beats both, its too bad Larry didnt fought them.

Pinklon Thomas' quote when Holmes lost to Spinks, "Larry betrayed Boxing."

Both guys were in their (Second Prime) back in 1992-1993. Foreman had a decent KO win over Coetzer and Holmes had a UD over Mercer. Both withstood a prime Evander.

Just seems like the obvious fight that was never discussed in the early 1990's.

Holmes has ALWAYS wanted Foreman and thinks of him as a big phony.

He thinks he's fake as a person too, he was saying that Foreman was still the same mean old bastard underneath the big fake smile and niceness

I don't know about Holmes being necessarily a big ducker, but he sure missed out on a lot of WBA champs/#1 ranked Ring contenders during his reign as WBC Champ. He got stripped for not fighting WBC mandatory Greg Page. Holmes said the reason he did this is because he was paid a lot more to fight Marvis Frazier.

Holmes definitely did his share of cherry-picking when he was approaching Rocky Marciano's 49-0.

Would you say Michael Spinks was a high risk fight or were there tougher fights out there for Homes at that time?
