A different kind of crazy to some of the ones you named, but, no one was as crazy as Jack Johnson, the things he did both in and outside of the ring were just nuts especially in that era.

Some here seem to be confusing criminal with crazy. Bruce Curry (Donald's older brother) was definitely legit crazy.

I wouldn’t put it past him, I know that he used to be street kid back in Poland -- so yeah he probably picked up a few useful habits.

                Nice call!!

On February 2, 1984, Curry was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada after he fired several shots at his trainer, Jesse Reid, following an altercation at a gym. He had fought with Reid after blaming him for his loss to Costello. Curry was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.[7]

Curry was found innocent by reason of insanity and ordered confined to a mental hospital until he was no longer a threat to society. He was released on March 26, 1985 after a team of three psychiatrists said he was no longer mentally ill.[8]

I was going to say the same thing. Fighters like James Butler and Edwin Valero are/were psychotic and criminal as well as being a POS.

There are other fighters who are entertaining with their crazy behavior without hurting anybody in a criminal way.
