To my assessment, I think so. His pre-title run, in particular, is just an outstanding streak.

I said Lewis has been knocked out but has proved his chin by taking punches from harder punchers than them, which he has Tua,Ruddock,Tyson,Morrison,Mercer and so on. But the ignorant **** you are twists it to say that I think McCall and Rahman hit harder than Dempsey which is ridiculous.

My credibility will always be here son, you haven't gained any yet. So you are telling me that Lewis had a bad jab, couldn't stick and move, had no footwork, a glass chin, no defense and yet still he achieved so much. If Lewis really was that bad then even a shot Tyson or any other fighter should have been able to beat him.

Lennox was a very clever boxer that didn't do any one thing brilliantly but did everything well. He could do it all and certainly had enough talent and ability to give Dempsey the hardest fight of his life. Dempsey knows only one way and if that doesn't work he's screwed, same goes for Tyson but at least Dempsey had heart and wouldn't give up like Tyson did whenever he came up against someone he couldn't blow away.
Dempsey out-boxed a master boxers in Gibbons, Sharkey & Carpentier.... Dempsey destroyed 6ft 5ins behemoths Fulton, Morris & Willard who all measured up to Lennox Lewis and he destroyed them in the opening round.. Dempsey loved those big slow guys.... Dempsey punched so hard that he broke Willards jaw, cheek-bone and eye-sockets and knocked his f@cking teeth out.. Dempsey was like a "panther who pounced with speed and unrivaled violence... Take a look at his fight with Willard and watch as he slips Willards jab and smashes home a brutal 5 punch salvo which floors Willard, to say he would not do that to Lewis is simply not being honest, Rahman & McCall poleaxed Lewis yet Jack Dempsey is 20 times what those two journeymen was.. Dempsey would beat Lewis within 2rds and most likely it would be the opening round.

I don't know how you expect to be taken seriously when you compare Lennox Lewis to Jess Willard. But it's an example of my point how Dempsey is overrated by a lot of people as if every Dempsey fantasy fight would turn out the same way as the Jess Willard fight.

LOL With that logic Brian Neilson is better than Ali. After all, he did beat Larry Holmes. Of course that would also mean Kevin McBride is better than Holmes.

You are talking about a triangle theory. Where did Sonny use that logic in his post?

I just don't see how Dempseys resume is better than Lewis.

Steroid fueled Holyfield was beter than the shot version Johnson that Willard fought.

And we know for certain that Holyfield did not throw the fight against Lennox.
