If Lennox can hurt Bowe through headgear, hed kill him without it.

maybe you could give us some examples of Lewis speed instead of just your imaginary comments that he was this that and the other..
Did Lewis show speed against Bruno
Did he show a brilliant jab against Bruno
Did he show killer instinct against Holyfield or Tyson
Did he show punch resistance against Rahman or McCall
Did he show how to beat mediocre opponents against Akinwande, Billups, Mavrovic or Tucker.

you live in a dreamworld talking Lewis up to be some kind of mythical "fighting-machine" yet the reality of his career was that he only ever had 2 performances that could be called great and those was against Golota (sedated in dressing room) and Grant (mediocre, exposed bum)... Rid**** Bowe put on several performances which was worthy of him being an ATG

Lennox's speed advantage is over other big men: 6'4+... It also shows up against boxers with stamina issues such as Bruno.

It showed up in the 6th and 7th rounds, and ultimately won him the fight.

i would not call that speed, i would call that a "Wild swinging lucky punch"

Bowe must have landed hundreds of low blows against Coetzer. Even the final combination began with a foul. A little poetic justice came his way against Golota years later.

This fight ain't even close, gimme Big George 7 days a week and twice on Sunday.

Foreman KOs him by the mid rounds. I know I probably won't be very popular for saying this but I think Rid**** Bowe is very overrated.

And btw these super six threads are a great idea, you should try it with other weights.

I think Bowe has this all the way, if we are talking about a prime Bowe. Foreman had trouble with boxers in the past and never faced anyone like Bowe. Bowes size alone would have helped him a lot and Bowe would dominate after 4 rounds. Foreman went for the KO back then and fought to hard without pacing himself. Bowe was a very good 12 round fighter. Foreman definitely had the power to get Bowe out of there early, but I lean more toward Bowe winning by late KO or UD.

                  What???

Lewis vacated the IBF title because he thought Ruiz was not of good enough quality to face him and was looking for the bigger fights. He stated that he thought Ruiz was another Don Kings push through who didn't deserve the shot.

How is that the same as Bowe vacating a title because he did not want to face a proven fighter and challenger who had beaten him well in the amateurs?

Ruiz was not a big enough fight so Lewis fought Frans Botha instead....is that what your claiming?

Face-up to it instead of listening to Lewis drivel, the guy was terrified of John Ruiz after getting floored in sparring by him way back in 1994 and knew he could not handle the "Grappling-Hook" style of Ruiz...

Lewis vs Byrd... what is your excuse for that fight not happening and Lewis getting stripped of the IBF belt?
