Fight of the Century because these two fought at a tremendous pace, beat the hell out of each other, left it all in the ring, and Frazier was the victor.

There are other great fights, but none better than the FOTC.

Joe Louis vs Buddy Baer II. Not one of the greatest or most discussed fights, but Joe was so textbook and amazing I never tire of watching it. I also like that Joe gave his entire purse to the Navy Relief Fund. A true gentleman and patriot. A close second is Dempsey-Willard for the sheer brutality and savagery, and the entrance into the Golden Age of sports.

Spinks-Holmes II: Two incredibly skilled fighters, incredibly skillful fight, with a very close outcome.

People always talk about Ali-Frazier III, but I have to say my all-time favourite is their first fight --- The Fight Of The Century. For both men, their skills & reflexes were visibly sharper, & their conditioning apparently stronger, here than what it would be a few years later. Overall, it was the best fight, & also the closest. I had Ali jumping well out in front, & it took all of fifteen rounds on my card (I had it a little closer than the officials) for Frazier to reel Ali in, which he did in thrilling & dogged fashion, despite Ali's formidable protests, in the form of snappy, accurate flurries, a spearing jab, & holding tactics.

A brilliant fight, & I have seen none better at HW.

For me its Tyson v Lennox Lewis...after all the tyson (the convicted rapists)prefight ****sexual jibes at Lewis calling him a ***** etc ,Tyson wasn't was just dominated and humiliated,he was totally out classed in and out side the ring ...
He was reduced to stroking lennoxs face at the end of being brutally KOed and saying sorry like a bully B!TCH..it was truly epic !
Watching Tyson being beat in to such a humble fashion will forever be cemented in my mind...Tyson new how good lewis is...even at an after dinner speech he declared Lewis as his toughest foe !

i agree Carlos... FOTC is my favorite fight by some way, i have watched it many many times and see things i never seen the time before.. it is great when Frazier drops his hands and starts mocking Ali as well as the incredible amount of punches thrown by both fighters.. IMO it was Muhammad Ali's greatest ever performance.

I also enjoy Frazier vs Quarry (1) a Forgotten Classic.. The over-hand right that Frazier hits Quarry with at the start of the 3rd round is brutal.. This version of Frazier beats almost every heavyweight who ever lived.

You are the kind who also enjoyed watching Holmes vs Ali, Camacho vs Leonard & Marciano vs Louis... are you seriously claiming that Mike Tyson was not a shell of his former self the night he fought Lewis... you also forgot to say how Tyson said before stroking Lewis face, "THANK'S FOR THE MONEY LENNOX" as well as how Lewis had to have 30 police officer's cordon off the ring during the intro's so that Tyson could not eye-ball Lewis and give him diarrhea.

Love that fight! Joe was special even by his standards that night!

Im gonna have to disagree with the Ali vs Frazier fights tho, i felt The Thrilla in Manilla was definatley their best bout and what a fight it was!
