My favourite heavyweight fights include; Foreman vs Frazier I, Frazier vs Ali I & III, Holyfield vs Bowe I, Dempsey vs Willard, Lewis vs Vitali and many more.

But my absolute favourite would have to be - Joe Louis vs Billy Conn I.

A tremendous fight - terrific display of boxing skills by Conn and dramatic comeback KO from the Brown Bomber.

It suits your argument to compare Lennoxs annihilation of tyson to that of Holmes vs Ali, Camacho vs Leonard & Marciano vs Louis etc etc ..but what fcuks that up big time is that unlike those fights ,by the time Lewis faced Tyson they both had the same amount of fights in the ring and Lewis was the older man of the two ! BTW The only reason they had 30 police their was to stop Tyson (the convicted sex offender) and certified nut starting something to B!TCH out the fight !
So for me it was just deserts for the bully boy who with his entourage that tried to intimidate and degrade a man at ever press conference by calling him gay and giggling about it amongst then self's ..
Lewis gave him something for calling him ***** didn't he !

Had Lewis served several long prison sentences, was Lewis on anti-depressants, had Lewis spent the last 10 weeks sitting in a sauna getting his weight down from 280lbs to 240lbs so as to look respectable in the ring on fight night ?
Tyson was only a shell of the once great fighter he had been more than 13yrs earlier.. being same age is meaningless... Tyson would not have called him a ***** if there was no substance to his allegation, at one time the national press indicated that Lewis was gay

keep dreaming .. Lewis was nothing more than a one round knock out for pre-prison Mike Tyson, Lewis never even fancied the job back in 1996 when he accepted step-a-side money from Don King, he could easily have said,"NO THANKS" and got a guaranteed career highest payday and a world title fight.. but instead he accepted a meagre pay day and waited another 6yrs for Tyson to suffer 2 defeats, more prison sentences and to completely self-destruct before he looked to fight him.. if Oliver McCall & Hasim Rahman can put Lewis lights-out then Mike Tyson would have knocked him into the ground like a flicking tent peg.

He was reduced to stroking lennoxs face at the end of being brutally KOed and saying sorry like a bully B!TCH..it was truly epic !
Watching Tyson being beat in to such a humble fashion will forever be cemented in my mind...Tyson new how good lewis is...even at an after dinner speech he declared Lewis as his toughest foe !
I prefer McBride-Tyson, when Tyson quit on his stool and broke the hearts of fanbois around the world.

There are other great fights, but none better than the FOTC.
That's my choice too. Very rare that the biggest fight is also the greatest fight.
