I think Pacquiao would have about as much trouble with Hamed as Barrera did. I remember the fight well it was a easy fight for Barrera. I also think Hearns out classes Trinidad I don't see either fights as competitive match ups.
No chance Hearns dominates Tito. Hearns might win but he couldn't dominate him. Tito unlike Hearns had true 2 handed power and it some point would hurt Hearns.
Also calling Hamed a bum really shows how ****** you are.
Tito was great but in terms of overall skill he was one dimensional compared to Hearns. No way could Tito ever adapt and outbox a fighter like Ray Leonard let alone Oscar Delahoya. The bottom line is that Hearns could beat Trinidad in two ways. Knocking him cold or outboxing him. Trinidad's ONLY chance against Hearns would be by KO. At 147 I don't see it happening. And BTW Heans had two handed powerunless you've never seen his left hook to the body.

Hearns had a glass jaw and anybody with power is a threat to KO him, Tito with arguable the best 2 handed power ever at welterweight would have a good chance.

Yeah and Trinidad's chin was not exactly concrete either. As many times as Trinidad was dropped it's not exactly unimaginable that Hearns would also have dropped him and finished him. At 147 Trinidad was dropped by fighters like Oba Carr and Randy Stephens and they hit no where near as hard as Hearns. So it's not like Trinidad couldn't be hurt by Hearns. At 147 Hearns was better and knocking out fighters in an even more destructive way than Trinidad. It took a Sugar Ray Leonard to beat Hearns at 147 and Trinidad was no Leonard.

Not to mention the BS about Hearns having a glass jaw is a myth. Was it steel? No. But it wasn't bad either. The only fighters to stop Hearns in his prime were Leonard and Hagler: That's hardly the record of a "glass-jawed" fighter.

No doubt Trinidad got knocked down plenty but never even close to being knocked out at welterweight
Agreed that Trinidad never got near to being knocked out at WW, but he also never got near to fighting a rival like Hearns (his best opponent, De La Hoya, fought unlike Hearns & made Trinidad look amateurish at the worst of times).
There would be a chance for Trinidad to win this, but I honestly see it as fairly slim. If he could start faster, & be a little more varied in the set-up of his offense, it might be different, but as is, Hearns has the better tools, the greater range, a terrific jab, & more than enough power to put a game, but ultimately very hittable, Trinidad out of the contest, & I believe he would.

Of course, Trinidad didn't fight a prime Ray Leonard either. Had he I guarantee that Tito would have gotten KTFO. Hell, Trinidad might not have survived an encounter with Cuevas: Someone Hearns destroyed.
