Not sure this is true. In his prime Smokin Joe weighed 205 lbs which means he weighed the same as most cruiserweights today. By contrast, today's heavies are in the 240 lb class. They are considerably bigger and harder hitting than those greats of Joe's era. Therefore, I do not believe he would have been much of a success in the heavies though he certainly would excel at junior heavies.
you are talking a load of garbage and need to go to NSB where you will meet loads of "Size & Weight geeks" like yourself and you can talk all day about how the Klits would be too big for Johnson, Marciano, Dempsey, Ali, Louis & Frazier and they would KO those midgets in the opening round because they are Too Big & Too Heavy

Wlad beats all of the small guys(Holyfield Frazier Tyson etc). But Wlad would no doubt get KTFO against a prime Foreman or Liston.

Liston and Foreman weren't much bigger than heavyweight Holyfield.

Frazier and Holyfield in their primes destroy Wlad... Tyson could go either way.

Holyfield was bigger then Liston by a few inches. Sounds weird saying it though lol, would of expected him to be bigger but Liston was only 6' and Holy was 6'2".

I meant to say Norton not Liston Holyfield while may be 6'2 he didn't have particularly long arms and was a blown up cruiser weight, believe me Holyfield would look very very small in the ring with Wlad.

Holyfield and Frazier would both resort to slugging both fights would look just like Holyfield/Bowe

Liston would have his way with Wlad anyway imo even if he is smaller, he had abnormally long reach, that pummelling jab, a great chin and more then enough power to put him away.

Norton is a difficult one to say, he definitely has the style to give Wlad fits but if Wlad connects with a big punch I can't say it will end well for Norton.

There is no doubt in my mind that Frazier, Holyfield and Tyson all knock out either Klitschko within 6 rounds.

What are you basing this on? Tyson and Frazier would be the most difficult fights for him as they were experts at slipping slow jabs, and getting inside, not to mention they are the fastest of all those you mentioned, and they hit among the hardest of all those you mentioned.

Klitschko is what you call "Tailor made" for guys like Frazier and Tyson. Neither Klitschko has the footwork, speed, handspeed, or combination punching that would be necessary to beat either Frazier or Tyson and honestly I can not see any way that either Klitschko wins that fight...

And that isn't because they are my favorite fighters, as there is a list of guys I'd choose to beat Tyson and Frazier, but the Klitschko's are definitely not on it.

I remember when I was a little kid when my dad carried me on his shoulders into the old Eastern Parkway Arena in Brooklyn where he had been a fixture for a few years. He boxed briefly as a club fighter in Puerto Rico during the 1930s, knew the sport like nobody else, and taught me the many intricacies of the game. When I render an opinion, it is just that -- an opinion. No slight is intended on anyone. If anything, I am a nostalgia buff and long for the good old days of boxing.

That is absolute rubbish, those 'small guys' would give wlad hell and would take him out of his comfort zone like never before, stylistically they are terrible match-ups for him, particularly tyson and frazier, who would put a terrible beating on wlad
