I couldn't but that's beside the point. Shavers would have a punchers chance but that's it. He was slow and had poor stamina. His chin wasn't the greatest either. He would have to catch Wlad early. if he did he certainly could have knocked him out but that would be his only chance. None of them would "toy" with Wlad like Sugar implied. t's not like the three fighters mentioned didn't have their own short comings either. Quarry cut easily, Shavers had awful stamina and was slow, and Bonavena was limited as well. I know how good and tough those fighters were. Especially Quarry. But these are not unbeatable all time greats we're talking about here.

The point is, it's not an easy fight for any of those three fighters. And to make that claim is delusional. Sugar seems to think fighters from the past win by default no matter who they are or what their capabilities or limitations were.. I know better.

I'd have to give Shavers and Quarry a reasonable punchers chance, not that I'd pick either of them. Bonavena would have ZERO chance to beat him though. Bonvena could never beat a first rate boxer, and he didn't have the power to get the job done even if he got lucky. He was outboxed by an ancient Floyd Patterson. You gotta know that Klitschko would own him with his jab.

I can see Shavers easily wiping the floor with Wlad...I mean he got taken out by Sanders...Wlad has never even faced a fighter of Shavers' caliber who was a mere contender in the golden era, much less a All time great...His biggest wins are against Sam Peter, who has nothing the ability Shavers had in any category...Not to mention that Peter was a punch away from KTFOing Wlad in their first meeting. Sam has no movement whatsoever, no combinations, no speed, poor stamina, poor work ethic, great power, and a pretty good chin. Shavers had 3 and 4 punch combinations, fast hands, decent footwork, 4 round stamina, a below average chin, the greatest knockout power on record, and was aggressive/somewhat of a pressure fighter...No reasonable way Prime-to-Prime Wlad can win...

No reasonable way that Wladimir can beat a guy who lost to Bob Stallings (20-25) in his prime? Wow, you are the most biased Klitschko hater here. I've learned not to waste time debating with irrational people. You know, the kind who claim that Michael Spinks hit like a middleweight.
