you don't back anything you have said with anything credible, all you do is back your ''opinions'' with your bias
unbelievable denial, you're a revisionist joke, period
please someone ban this fool
please someone ban this fool you say?... are you having a ****in laugh?
so what you are now trying to imply is that whenever you are called into question the person should be banned from the forum is that correct?..... you are a clown who has never watched the fights you are making false statements about... Did Jimmy Young engage Ali in a fight, Did Jimmy Young land or throw punches to be seen as the winner like you claim, Did Young repeatedly hold his head outside of the ropes so as to prevent Ali engaging him in a fight....which is why the judges scored it by landslide victory to Ali.
You also claimed i have an AGENDA but never told what the agenda is
i am going to have some fun with you in the coming weeks

you don't seem to realize 3 people in this thread alone say Young was robbed, but again, you ignore the fact that you're alone here thinking Ali won
the judges scored the fight for the bigger name ($), not for the winner, and yes, Young did more than enough to win
here, a sloppy Ali gets easily countered by Young
as for your agenda, it is very simple : you defend the fighters you like, most of which are fighters of the past, and you distort the facts and the truth to nuthug them as much as you can
your agenda is obvious in every thread you start
I doubt you will have that much fun with me in the coming weeks if your arguments and opinions are always as poor as the ones I've read and destroyed here is this thread, in fact I could be the one having fun, but seriously, I don't find it all that fun to expose the bias of a mediocre poster such as you
there is also a high possibility that I put you on ignore because as we can see here, it is impossible to reason with you, you come back again and again with arguments I have already destroyed
therefore, I consider that you're not worth wasting time onLast edited by Tiozzo; 10-13-2010, 10:55 AM.

You claim i favor fighters from the past when the reality is that i talk about the fighters from the past because this is a boxing history section and the fighters from the past are vastly superior to any active fighters of the last 10yrs with the exception of Manny Pacquiao whom i rate as an ATG.. But the difference between myself and you is that i know what i am talking about when i talk about boxing from the past whereas you don't and if you think i am a mediocre poster then do yourself a favor and put me on your ignore list that way you wont have to read my posts

And i dont give a **** about how many posters think Young won against Ali as it is my opinion and the opinion of the judges that Ali was the clear winner... put up your scorecard of the fight and i will watch it again this evening laughing throughout at your lack of knowledge of the fight game.

As for the Young's head being out of the ring, a few years ago I asked a friend with a tape to count how many times it happened. He said about 12. My viewpoint is that it is the referee's job to warn Young if he was doing something illegal. He didn't so the judges should have scored the action (or lack thereof) in the ring. Same thing when Ali was allowed to flagrantly hold Frazier's head constantly during their second fight. The horrible ref did nothing about it, and the judges correctly gave Ali the decision since he basically rendered Frazier ineffective. The judges blew it in the Young fight though.
