Who do you rank as the higher jimmy young or Jimmy Ellis?

I won't question your scorecard, but while I have Young winning without any doubt, I had it closer, maybe 9-6 in favor of Young, maybe I gave some close rounds to Ali

I watched that fight live and thought that Young was a clear winner. Most likely his negative style turned off the judges who were already swooning over Ali. When it was over I definitely thought Young was robbed.

definitely, but what some people like Sonnyboy don't realize is that a good, neutral judge won't give the fight to Ali because Young purposely sticks his head out of the ring if, for the rest of the contest, Ali is getting a whooping

Lets get it on ****sucker... ive forgot more about boxing than you will ever know, your a newbie to this sport and when you talk about boxing history its clear to me that you know nothing whatsoever about it, you have gone to the effort of putting up a clip of Jimmy Young throwing a slow right hand over Muhammad Ali's jab which you will use to back up your pathetic argument that Young beat Ali, ive seen that fight a couple of times and Young was beaten easily just like the judges marked it yet you claim they scored the fight for Ali coz he was the bigger name... talk about a laughable comment, why did the judges not score Ali the winner against Frazier (1) & Norton (1) both was close fights.. you live in a dream world mate... My viewpoint is that it is the referee's job to warn Young if he was doing something illegal. He didn't so the judges should have scored the action (or lack thereof) in the ring. Same thing when Ali was allowed to flagrantly hold Frazier's head constantly during their second fight. The horrible ref did nothing about it, and the judges correctly gave Ali the decision since he basically rendered Frazier ineffective. The judges blew it in the Young fight though.
