Who was the best OVERALL puncher in the sport ever?

Jimmy Wilde is also #3 in Rings best punchers list. Tyson was a great ATG puncher , I do not have him in my top 10 heavy's list but I do have him in my top 10 ATG great heavy punchers list and a case may be made of him being in the top 5. But the best is Joe Louis. Sonny Liston was a great heavy puncher too but p4p I believe he could not be the tops.
And please dont label Sugar Ray a wild puncher he was anything but that...Everyone in some stage in their career in one or two fights has done some wild punching, but that doesnot make them a wild puncher overall. And He was the #11 puncher in the rings list and I think he deserves to be there. He could throw great combination, had good one shot power. What is the basis of him being labelled a wild puncher? He did not connect with everything he threw?
However my top 5 are
1)Joe Louis-- No explanations needed
2)Bob Fitzsimsons --First middle weight champ to be heavy champ.Think of a middle weight knocking out heavy's not once or twice but regularly
3)Sam Langford --> Same as Bob.
4)Jimmy Wilde --Like I mentioned previously his record speaks for itself.
5)Jack Dempsey --The job he did on Willard,Fulton while being outweighed regularly makes me put him here.
There are a ton of others I struggled to keep out of this list, but as I said before its hard to choose 10,5 or even 20 punchers from all the greats in the long history of this sports.

Exactly what I meant by the above quotes Poet. Ray was a brilliant puncher. And Ray had to stop Turpin (in his mind in one round) what do you expect him to do dance around and try to land jabs? Desperate times calls for desperate measure...May I suggest looking at Gene Fullmer's KO by Ray to prove how good a puncher he really was...
