was meldrick taylor really wasted after the chavez fight?

did duran make leonard fight his fight in montreal?

    did leonard duck pryor?

I read somewhere that he threw a few punches, none with any 'anger' behind them though. Not sure if it's correct though, may have, might not have, can only go off of reports on this one.

He wasn't what he used to be but he wasn't exactly 'wasted', he didn't fight for 2 years after the fight which would of effected him too.

did Duran make Leonard fight his fight in montreal?
Imo yes, I know people that will disagree though, might watch the fight later on.

    Did Leonard duck Pryor?
No, Pryor turned down Leonards offer.

pep one a round without throwing a punch, what was he doing shadow boxing,or did he fight a guy with his hands tied behind his back, during the fight i
dont think you can fight all those rounds being wasted but after the fight he probably had a couple of beers, duran won the fight buy a controversial decision, the judges were scoring on the reaction of the pro duran fans, look at the rematch duran did not land more than 10 punches, and yes leonard did duck pryor,

I think the story goes that Pep made a bet with someone that he could win 1 round without throwing a punch, "1" round, not the whole fight.

He won the fight via TKO.

it is a story that was probably started by him in a bar long ago with to many rum and cokes in him and an audience of beer drinking pals who believed him, there is no way a fighter can win a round without throwing a punch, even if the other guy does not land a punch the round would be scored even,

It was started by Bert Sugar, should actually do some research before saying ****** things.

Well, didn't one of the judges in the De La Hoya/Trinidad fight give Oscar the 12th round, even though DLH didn't throw any punches or was running away that whole round?

And no, Leonard didn't duck Pryor, but he did duck a prime Hagler. Even when he finally DID fight Hagler years later, it was STILL a close fight, which shows how good and how tough Hagler was.

Guy doesn't seem to get it. Whether Leonard abandoned a game plan is of no consequence. All that matters is that he used the wrong game plan. To hell with why. That's for the birds. His strategy was just bad. He used a DIFFERENT strategy in the rematch, that much is obvious. Even in the third fight it was more of the same (less clowning though). Leonard beats him every time if he dances.
