And why did you forget to cite the rest of that text:
Muhammad Ali was the most naturally gifted heavyweight champion in history. His phenomenal speed in his prime never ceases to amaze though who saw him or who have studied him on film. The late Jimmy Jacobs, then the owner of the world's largest fight film collection, once measured Ali's jab by an omegascope. He found that Sugar Ray Robinson's jab took 8.5 frames of film. Ali's took only 6.5!! Faster than the fastest middleweights, Ali's extraordinary hand and foot speed allowed him to outspeed both his opponent's and his mistakes. Ali did everything wrong, holding his hands low and leaning away from punches. However, his uncanny sense of timing, distance and superb reflexes allowed him to avoid his opponent's punches.

Not only that you quoted someone's text as your own, this guy is one of the most spit-licking CLAYtons ever because Ali gets from pillar to post in nearly every of his fights (even the slowest punches don't miss), thus if you talk about reflexes then you need to rewatch some real footage of Ali, and not some "YouTube best scenes".
Prime Muhammad Ali was 29-0-23 KO's

What was his KO % in his Prime? Since you seem to like doing this.

Go look at my first comment, on the first page... back when the discussion was civil. I said Wlad would UD Ali.

Then you started posting pictures of orangutans!. I respond with an actual BOXING picture, on a boxing forum and all of a sudden I am the hater?

Did you just post a snapshot of a fighter getting hit to make a cheap point?

Him getting hit was not the point, how he cowers to the corner like a kitten was the point I was trying to make. I couldve accommodated it with an actual ***** but that would be childish.

Doesn't matter. They won't even fight the best from now.

How the hell are people giving Ali credit for beating Liston. Liston withdrew from the first match when it was a draw with an injured shoulder and the second match was either a case of Ali with loaded gloves or Liston taking a dive or at best, at absolute best, the result of a completely incompetant Jersey joe Walcott as referee who 1. Failed to make Ali go back to his corner 2. Had no clue what the heck was happening since Ali was ******ed and standing over Liston threatening him. 3. Actually allowed the fight to continue. Also if that punch dropped Liston for 10.........how anyone could think he could handle a straight right from either brother is beyond me.

I mean seriously. This prime Ali thing is nonsense, Joe Calzaghe had 23 knockouts in his first 25 fights. I suppose prime Joe Calzaghe was a knockout king.........gtfo of here trolls. Ali had a lot of knockouts in his "prime" because he was fighting bums who weighed 177 lbs. Or police chiefs. or guys who were shot. Or 58 year old archie moore....

Archie Moore was 50 (where did you get 58 from ?), Joe Calzaghe worn people down and he did have decent power before his hand injuries.

I like how you pick out the lowest weighing opponent that was Ali's 4th Pro (?) fight and even try to discredit that from him.
(Was also his only opponent under 180)

If all you're going to do is discredit boxers go back to NSB.

haha oh im sorry 50 year old Archie Moore, get off the board. Seriously. You count that as being a heavy hitter, beating up a guy born during world war 1? Good job Ali. ALi fought plenty under 190, and tons more under 200 during that time. Real heavy hitter...almost always he had the weight advantage...wait, I thought you said weight was a big deal at lower weight, not HW, so Ali weighing 221, when fighting 180 lbs guys...that WOULD qualify as a huge advantage.

Ali got floored by Chuck Wepner. Chuck Wepner. Get out of here troll. This forum is for fans who understand boxing, not ones who learned about it from reading the back of cereal boxes.

And I love people bringing up ATG lists etc...Jesse Ownes is widely considered one of the top 5 greatest athletes of the 20th century. Owens, who has several gyms named after him at Ohio State, would have not qualified for any relay last year. Meaning OSU has several, SEVERAL guys faster than Owens. Mark Spitz? Wouldnt have made the olympics in 08, but boxing...boxing is the only sport where globalization, research, diet, nutrition, supplements etc...hae not taken any effect. What a joke.

REad through the entire thread. I assume you are an alt because there cant be this many people who get on boxing forums to argue how legitimately Ali beat 185 pound bums who once lost 4 fights in a year..........So maybe it wasnt under this alt, but another one of your alts. Haha and whats Ali's excuse for less KO's after his prime "he got heavier?" Garbage. Its because he fought all bums. Calzaghe at least can blame it on the hands. Ali was a featherfisted coward and fraud and a joke.
