Do you disagree with anything I said in my previous post? The criticizers of Lennox are his greatest asset because they contend that he was in his prime from age 23 to 37. This lofty expectation isnt bestowed on any other boxer including Ali.

Ive heard you in the past complain about Lennox retiring at age 38, and not giving Vitali a rematch. But no one scolds Bowe for retiring at 29 or Dempsey at 32, because the expectations for those guys are not as GREAT as for Lennox.

The TRUTH is that Lennox's prime was at 28 just like any other normal human being (when he destroyed Ruddock in 2 rounds). Its just that he is so damned good and talented people think he was always prime which is a testament to his high skill level.

And to answer your question, Lennox beat the current HW champion of the world back when that guy was in his prime.

but dempsey and bowe never used steroids like Lewis did.. Lewis gained more weight threw his career than Manny Pacquiao has... Lewis prime was 94-98 and he got poleaxed by a journeyman.... Lewis does not compair in any way to the greats from the past, you claim Lewis is better than Joe Frazier & Sonny Liston but was they ever poleaxed laying unconscious on the deck like Lewis was from a punch by a journeyman

You're stoned and as ****** as that picture of downed syndrome looking Joe Calzaghe in your avatar.

        Seriously, you're an idiot.

You have yet to answer the question as to who he beat at the top of their game, aside from an early stoppage to Vitali.

against who did Lewis show this imaginary "High Skill Level" you claim he has?

Ruddock was Damaged-Goods and never landed a single punch infact he only threw 3 punches in the fight... Mike Tyson had beaten any fight which was in Ruddock out of him when he smashed his eye-socket, Jaw & cheeckbone.

Lewis fought a bunch of tomato cans and fighters who was at the end of their careers, whenever he faced a fighter who was not `shot` Lewis got poleaxed.

you spew out all this rubbish about Lewis being this and that but who has he beaten that was at the top of their game?..... answer - no-one

i think lewis was a great fighter but his losses really hurt him.they way he lost suggest there are alot of heavys who wouldve put him away.he also fought well past it versions of mike and evander, and really missed out on fighting the best americans.i think his best win was mercer but that win he got is arguable

the best wins over Lewis' career are Vitali, Holyfield and Golota imo. I mean, Golota was coming off his destruction of Bowe.

although he had some bad losses, he did dominately avenge them not long after.

his win over a prime Vitali pretty much seals the deal to me that he is probably the 5th or so best heavyweight of all time, imo. Vitali went on to take over the division, and even today at an old age is owning the division alongside Wladimir.

those top wins plus his other respectable wins like Ruddock, Tucker, Mercer, Tua, Morrison, Bruno and Tyson cement him in my mind as one of the best heavyweights ever. top ten, at least.

Lennox every man he ever faced in his prime: (age 27-32) and every man when he was past his prime: (age 32-37). He is one of the few Heavyweights in history to accomplish this feat. (EDITED FOR BOWE, he also defeated everyone he ever faced but never defended a title past the age of 32)

Most guys laying unconscious from a punch will retire like Ricky Hatton (30) or the "great" Michael Spinks at age 31. What does it tell you that at age 36, Lewis was able to get off of the mat and absolutely dominate his opponent the 2nd time to regain his title?

I find it hilarious how the "Shot" rule applies to every single boxer that ever existed except for Lennox Lewis. Mike Tyson is shot after getting ko'd by Douglas at 23, but Lennox is expected to make a full recovery at 36 against Rahman. Your basically saying that Lennox is capable of overcoming a punishing match and guys like 29 Bowe and 32 year old Dempsey are not.

My mistake, I meant to put Heavyweight.

Marciano retired at 32 and didnt beat a single guy once he past that age. Lennox proved himself on both sides of age 32.
