Exactly the truth. I think most people know this to be true, it's just getting the die hard Lewis fans/Canadians/English to acknowledge it.

      Was he overrated?

How does he go against the ATG's?
He was really dominant and ducked by many fighters.

He's underrated because he get caught cold twice.
      He avanged those losses tough.

Tyson and Klitschko fans indirectly compliment Lennox all the time when they say he was in his prime in 2002 and 2003 when he actually wasn't. Lennox is so good that despite being Ko'd twice people think he was in his prime for his entire career.

When other fighters get Ko'd in the manner that Lennox did at the age of 35 they are considered Shot. People hold Lennox to a higher standard, they expected him to bounce back from Rahman and he did so in spectacular fashion.
you are dellusioned and the biggest nuthugger ive ever came across... name for me one single fighter above Class C who was at the top of his game when Lennox Lewis fought him

you are this forums No1 clown... you know absolutely nothing whatsoever about the history of pro boxing, not a single member takes anything you say seriously because you are a laughing stock, the comments you come out with border on ridiculous or total baffoonery.

Who fought Tyson at his peak??

Lewis murdered in one round Bowe.
It was in amateur BUT O GAME FINALS.

Vitali is a nice win.Lewis record bodies most of HW legends records.

He's Top 10 ATG easy, top 5 in my book after Louis and Ali of course.

What ?, Lewis did not murder Bowe and it was in the 2nd round where he scored the phony KO.

The referee was clearly against Bowe anyone could see that, giving him random warnings and such. Also Bowe rocked Lewis more in the 1st round then Lewis did in the 2nd with the supposed knockout punches, Bowe was clearly ready to continue.

I'm not saying Bowe couldn't continue, but he was taking his licks and not dishing anything out.

That's how amateur boxing goes. I've seen fights called for much less punishment than Bowe took, to be honest.

Bowe was still fighting, the referee gave Bowe another warning when he came out of the clinch as soon as the ref stopped talking Lewis hit him with a single decent right hand the ref interrupted, Bowe walked away in fine condition and they stopped it.

Even the commentators were saying that Bowe was not in any trouble at all or that the punch was not particularly effective, they said it was a very premature stoppage as did Bowe.

Ref was rubbish, it's an Olympics Final no way it should of ended that way.

yes it was a bazzarr stoppage with Bowe getting warned more than 8 times in the opening round, 8 times for nothing..
