dude lost all his big fights and his best win was against a green SRL who decided to brawl with him
Duran was undimensional and a fatass, in most ofhis fights he was so grossly out of shape.....an embarrasement to the sport.
Dude ****** badly, Pacquiao would destroy him with 2 rounds just like hearnsComment

Alright, we can all agree this thread is a joke, but I will give OP this: people overrate Duran as a SKILLED fighter. For some reason it's become common to rate Duran so highly because of technical skills when it was his brawling instinct that set him apart. He was a brawler at heart that tempered and controlled that instinct with skill, not the other way around. He could move seamlessly between the two.Comment

Absolutely! He was a thin, fragile LW that would have been easily knocked out by Pacyow within two rounds or outboxed and stopped by Monee Mai within six rounds and then after that he was just a disgusting fat pile of rubbish who lost to Kirkland Laing, Robbie Sims and was knocked out by Tommy Hearns and William Joppy! pwn LAMO!
20 losses or 0 losses?
0=better! pwn!!!
LAMO!!!!!Comment

Duran's aggression was controlled and meant to set up openings, where as a straight brawler just swings for the fences. Duran had a great knack for going to the body to open up the head, and vice versa, and being able to successfully capitalize on it. He was also very good defensively making opponents barely miss and keeping himself in optimum punching range. I don't disagree with you often my friend, but I do disagree with this.Comment
