Hearns was a killer at 147. Mayweather might last 3 rounds but the endresult would be him spreadeagled on the canvas.

Ezzard Charles and Ray Robinson were both very close to having a belt at 175.

Charles would **** up Robinson, but 95% of us have Robinson on top of our personal lists of all time greats.

      What's your point?

Hearns has an awkward style. In the first Leonard fight, the commentators were baffled by why Sugar Ray couldn't get off. I thought it was obvious that he was having trouble timing Hearns' jab as he was trying to get inside. Mayweather would have all sorts of trouble timing him and then countering, which means he'd have to open up a little bit to try and get in range. Oh man, would Hearns tee off then. It's an awful style match-up for Floyd, he gets knocked the **** out.

no way would Charles beat Robinson and both of them fought at 160lbs.. Robinson only had the one fight at 175 and due to the heat quit on his stool.

What makes you think Charles would **** up Robinson?

            Ignorance at its finest.

And the answer to your question. Because I know enough about the sport we are talking about.

I will give you a hint.

Charles and Robinson were two men of the same age. Why did they never fight each other, since "both of them fought at 160"?

The answer has nothing to with "ducking" it is much simpler.

Tommy was out-boxing Leonard most of the fight. It was only when Ray began brawling with him that he got the upper hand. Floyd would never brawl with Hearns and is at massive disadvantages boxing him.

Too many people pick Hearns by KO. Decision is obviously more likely. Who's the best defensive fighter Hearns ever faced? Benitez. Did he knock him out? No. Is Benitez a better defensive fighter than Mayweather? No. The Benitez fight was a hard fought tactical battle. Same **** here.

                      Hearns by MD.

And this is not a legitimate knock at Floyd at all. Hearns was getting decisioned by no man at 147. And Mayweather could only win the fight by decision.
