I share what the Holmes people said. Holmes was floored by guys like Shavers and Snipes in round 7 but he got up and would be more aggressive. I think Holmes chin can hold up and he would use the laser stiff jab on Foreman for a good portion of the fight. When Foreman would get tired the sting of his punches would go away. I see a prime Holmes winning by UD or even late round stoppage. It would have been a great fight.

George Forman had a pretty darn good left jab himself.
Not as good as Holmes left jab,but alot better than people think.

As for me,if Foreman doesn't knockout Holmes in the first 3 to 5 rounds,I'd give it to Holmes by UD or TKO in the late rounds.
Holmes has a speed advantage and good move well but he was never fleet footed and often planted his feet to let of combinations. I'd say Foreman late stoppage or if Holmes can somehow survive, a decision win but I doubt Holmes could go 15 with Foreman.

Man, if we're talking about pre-Ali Foreman, then Foreman wins. That man, aged 25, was one of the most fearsome fighters ever, it's easy to overlook what he did to Norton and Frazier, two of the very beat heavies of that era, both men who had given Ali fits. Foreman had power, great hooks, especially to the body and a solid jab.
